Aspects of promoting well-being in primary school with focus on exceptionally gifted students

This thesis focuses on the wellbeing of students in education. Specifically, it concerns pupils of two parallel classes attending a primary school with a specific organization of education for exceptionally gifted pupils. The aim of the paper is to capture the pupil`s subjective feelings in relation to aspects of the school environment that have been implemented to promote pupil`s wellbeing. The first part of the thesis includes a theoretical background that summarizes the knowledge on the issue of wellbeing. It focuses on the aspects that may influence wellbeing in education, taking into account the teaching of exceptionally gifted pupils. The second part of the thesis contains a description and results of the actual research investigation, which was conducted in two stages. The first stage of the research investigation used a quantitative method of data collection through a questionnaire, the respondents were pupils in two parallel classes at a selected primary school. Based on the analysis of the results of the first stage of the research survey, the basis for the questions for the second stage of the research survey was created. The diploma thesis focus on building classroom community throuhg drama education. It examines and discovers the work in a team and the connestion of ties to the new class teacher. The selected pupil will be characterized by his behavior and relationship with his classmates. This diploma thesis focuses on monitoring the impact of methods and techniques of drama education on building the classroom climate of a given class in the fourth year of elementary school. He investigates and finds out about working in a team and connecting ties with the new class teacher. In the case of the selected student, he will characterize his behavior and relationship with his classmates. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the definition and concepts of drama education, as well as terminology from the field of school classroom climate, approaches. Furthermore, I will present an expert view on the characteristics of younger school-age pupils, who are the main subjects of the implementation of the practical part. The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of „The tutor at the specialized High School.“ The main objective of the thesis is to describe a work of the Tutors at the current Czech school system. The thesis describes necesseary competences required for successful work of the tutor as well as the needed activities. This thesis includes various typologies and characteres of teachers as including their capabality of self-reflection and respect. Other topic refers to actual view of the Czech education system. The objective of the practical part is to resolve explorati-ve questions. By quantitative research and questionnaires we can find answer of the questions of pupils view of the class teacher and their satisfaction. The questionnaires research took part this year at spring.

The management of the adaptation course in high schools by the class teacher Palicová Petra 2022 ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with the issue of conducting adaptation courses at High schools. The main topic is the management of the courses by the class teachers themselves so that the course is beneficial for the collective, communication and the overall atmosphere of teaching. The adaptation course is seen here as one of the means by which school discipline can be aided and its appropriate form of management has a positive effect on teaching. In the practical part, the research is described, the aim of which was to analyse the process of designing and implementing an adaptation programme at High schools, with reference to the role of the class teacher. Quantitative research was chosen, the method of data collection was a questionnaire of own construction. Three hypotheses were formulated and chi-square was chosen to test them. The research population consisted of High school class teachers. The paper includes recommendations for the optimal approach of classroom teachers to the adaptation program at High scool.

The diploma thesis is focused on the importance of properly managed classroom classes, in terms of their impact on building good relationships in the classroom and creating a pleasant environment in primary school. It deals with their function, importance and benefit for individuals, and therefore for the whole team, including the class teacher. The content of this work also deals, for example, with the correct compilation of class rules, which contribute to the creation of a confidential and relaxed atmosphere in the class team, in which students are not afraid to speak and cooperate. Furthermore, the work clarifies why and how class classes should be held and what topics are appropriate to include in their thematic plans. The main goal of the thesis is to find out whether the classroom classes contribute to the creation of a safe and relaxed environment at the Elementary School Zdice u Berouna. To verify this goal, I will use qualitative methods, namely structured observation of students' groups during class classes and structured interviews. Both qualitative methods take place on the grounds of Zdice Elementary School. Annotation: Michaela Kaštánková Pecháčová's diploma thesis "The cooperation between family and school in the case of pupils with special educational needs from teachers' point of view" deals with the issues of school-family cooperation. It is divided into a theoretical part, which describes the functions of the family and school, forms of cooperation and communication between both parties. It also focuses on the role of educational counsellor and form teacher. Theoretical knowledge is mainly from the field of pedagogy, psychology, didactics and special pedagogy, as well as from professional experience. The second part of this thesis is the research. The research consists of two parts. The first part deals with the area of expertise of the educational counsellor during the online education. The second part researches the opinions of the teachers about the problematics of the cooperation between school and parents in primary educational system using qualitative interviews with teachers and subsequently their analysis. Beginning Teacher at the first grade of primary school

Diploma thesis addresses the issue of initial training of beginning teachers of primary school in Czech schools. Defines the requirements for successful integration of new employees, as well as suggesting possible standard procedures, methods and assesses the possibility of their use in the school environment. It describes the role of supervising teacher and the meaning of its existence. The task of the practical part is to find out with which kinds of educational activities beginning teachers have problems. In interviews with experienced teachers, we tried to clarify whether at the time of their beginnings had the same problems as current teachers and we wonder on what skills and knowledge should be students of faculties of education trained better. Self-concept of a child with specific learning disorders at first grade of primary school

Thesis focuses on self conception of primary school children impaired by specific learning disabilities. Based on case histories of nine children it states factors influencing the building of a self concept, and also follows a development of monitored children. The theoretic section defines a conceptual framework based on characteristics of a preadlolescent child with specific regard to her/his sensoric, cognitive and emotional development, with regard to development of child's self concept and to specific learnind disabilities in general. It describes the stage of children's development and learning disorders they are afflicted by. The practical section of the thesis describes case histories of nine pupils (and their development), which the author of the thesis followed for two years. The group consists of 9 pupils (2 girls and 7 boys). The thesis gives a thorough view on self conception of monitored children, their positionin the school group and areas of succes, it shows the individuality of each child's personality and his/her life story.
